February 6, 2023: Fennimore, WI 53809 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Fennimore Golden Eagles (Fennimore, WI) and the visiting Benton Zephyrs (Benton, WI), saw Fennimore's basketball squad overcome Benton by a tally of 60-52.
With the victory, Fennimore improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Golden Eagles host Boscobel (Boscobel, WI) to confront the Bulldogs in a Southwest Wisconsin Activities challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Boscobel lost 80-45 in their recent league challenge against Mineral Point (Mineral Point, WI)
Next up, the Zephyrs confront the Potosi Chieftains (Potosi, WI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 10. Benton will attempt to improve on its 3-16 season record. The Chieftains come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 59-43 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, WI).
