Ohio High School Basketball - Paulding holds off Ayersville
February 6, 2024: Defiance, OH 43512 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Paulding Panthers (Paulding, OH) and the host Ayersville Pilots (Defiance, OH), saw Paulding's basketball squad hold off Ayersville by a tally of 44-37.
With the victory, Paulding improves its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Tinora (Defiance, OH) to confront the Rams in a Green Meadows challenge on Friday, February 9. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Tinora lost 62-49 in their recent non-league challenge against Archbold (Archbold, OH)
Next up, the Pilots confront the Edgerton Bulldogs (Edgerton, OH) in a Green Meadows challenge, on Friday, February 9. Ayersville will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 44-43 non-league win over Hilltop (West Unity, OH).
