Ohio High School Basketball - Ayersville holds off Stryker
February 10, 2024: Stryker, OH 43557 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Ayersville Pilots (Defiance, OH) and the host Stryker Panthers (Stryker, OH), saw Ayersville's basketball squad hold off Stryker by a tally of 59-55.
With the victory, Ayersville improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Pilots travel to Fairview (Sherwood, OH) to confront the Apaches in a Green Meadows challenge on Friday, February 16. The Apaches come into the challenge with a record of 9-10. Fairview won 44-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Hilltop (West Unity, OH)
Next up, the Panthers confront the North Central Eagles (Pioneer, OH) in a Buckeye Border challenge, on Friday, February 16. Stryker will attempt to improve on its 9-11 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 75-69 non-league loss to Ottawa Hills (Toledo, OH).
