Ohio High School Basketball - Tallmadge can't hold off Barberton
February 6, 2024: Tallmadge, OH 44278 The Barberton Magics basketball team scored 96 points and held the host Tallmadge Blue Devils to 89 in the Magics league triumph on Tuesday.
The Magics now sport a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Roosevelt for a Suburban - American contest on Friday, February 9. Barberton will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 54-42 league loss to Cuyahoga Falls (Cuyahoga Falls, OH). The Rough Riders record now stands at 8-10.
The Blue Devils (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Highland (Medina, OH). The Hornets enter the Suburban - American contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Highland was nudged by Copley (Copley, OH), 63-60, in a league contest.
