New Jersey High School Basketball - Waldwick nips Becton
February 6, 2024: Waldwick, NJ 07463 Waldwick Warriors (Waldwick, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Becton Wildcats (East Rutherford, NJ), 73-66 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Waldwick upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Warriors travel to Ridgefield Park (Ridgefield Park, NJ) to play the Scarlets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 7. The Scarlets go into the bout with a record of 11-12. Ridgefield Park won 49-41 in their recent league bout against Cliffside Park (Cliffside Park, NJ)
Next up, the Wildcats play the American History Bald Eagles (Newark, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Becton will attempt to upgrade on its 10-12 season record. The Bald Eagles go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 58-55 non-league loss to Bard Early College (Newark, NJ).
