West Virginia High School Basketball - Charleston Catholic crushes Cross Lanes Christian
February 6, 2024: Charleston, WV 25301 Charleston Catholic Irish (Charleston, WV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cross Lanes Christian Warriors (Charleston, WV), 79-55 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Charleston Catholic upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Irish host Buffalo (Buffalo, WV) to play the Bison in a Freelance bout on Thursday, February 8. The Bison go into the bout with a record of 8-7. Buffalo lost 55-50 in their recent league bout against Poca (Poca, WV)
Next up, the Warriors play the Hannan Wildcats (Ashton, WV) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 9. Cross Lanes Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 13-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-12 record after their 78-34 non-league loss to Calvary Baptist Academy (Hurricane, WV).
