Connecticut High School Basketball - Cheney RVT crushes Norwich RVT
February 6, 2024: Manchester, CT 06040 Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Norwich RVT Warriors (Norwich, CT), 84-48 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Cheney RVT upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Beavers travel to Grasso Tech (Groton, CT) to play the Eagles in a Connecticut Technical - East bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 9-7. Grasso Tech won 64-53 in their recent non-league bout against Vinal RVT (Middletown, CT)
Next up, the Warriors play the Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Norwich RVT will attempt to upgrade on its 5-10 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-9 record after their 71-50 non-league loss to Stonington (Stonington, CT).
