The Cheney RVT Beavers (Manchester, CT) basketball crushed the visiting Vinal RVT Hawks (Middletown, CT), 72-39 in Friday's league test.

The Beavers (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Manchester (Manchester, CT). The Red Hawks go into the non-league test with a 11-2 record.

The Hawks now own a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Harvard Ellis Tech for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 30. Vinal RVT will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 96-44 non-league loss to Windham RVT (Willimantic, CT). The Eagles record now stands at 1-11.
