North Carolina High School Basketball - Community School of Davidson knocked off by Christ the King
February 6, 2024: Huntersville, NC 28078 The Christ the King Crusaders basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Community School of Davidson Spartans to 73 in the Crusaders league triumph on Tuesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 8-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greater Cabarrus Stallions for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 8. Christ the King will battle a Stallions team coming off a 66-28 league win over Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 18-6.
The Spartans (12-9) will now prepare for their contest against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Lions enter the 1A/2A Catawba Shores contest with a 1-23 record. In their last contest, Langtree Charter was defeated by Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC), 77-54, in a league contest.
