Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Donegal holds off Cocalico
February 6, 2024: Mt. Joy, PA 17552 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA) and the visiting Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA), saw Donegal's basketball squad hold off Cocalico by a tally of 52-51.
With the victory, Donegal improves its record to 7-8 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Eastern Lebanon County (Myerstown, PA) to confront the Raiders in a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 10-9. Eastern Lebanon County won 66-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Octorara Area (Atglen, PA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Cocalico will attempt to improve on its 11-8 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 15-6 record after their 57-26 non-league win over Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA).
