Alaska High School Basketball - Wasilla can't hold off Colony
February 6, 2024: Palmer, AK 99645 The Colony Knights basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Wasilla Warriors to 59 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Soldotna for a 4A Northern Lights contest on Friday, February 9. Colony will battle a Stars team coming off a 66-35 non-league win over Nikiski (Nikiski, AK). The Stars record now stands at 9-7.
The Warriors (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK). The Thunderbirds enter the non-league contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Bettye Davis East Anchorage nudged Service (Anchorage, AK), 57-40, in a league contest.
