Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) and the visiting Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC), saw Currituck County's basketball squad overcome Holmes by a tally of 64-47.

With the victory, Currituck County improves its record to 13-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC) to confront the Panthers in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal challenge on Friday, February 9. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-14. Pasquotank County won 83-59 in their recent league challenge against Manteo (Manteo, NC)

Next up, the Aces confront the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal challenge, on Friday, February 9. Holmes will attempt to improve on its 9-10 season record. The Nighthawks come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 67-59 league win over Hertford County (Ahoskie, NC).
