In Thursday's non-league outing, the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC), by a margin of 84-53.

The Knights (5-4) will now prepare for their outing against Camden County (Camden, NC). The Bruins go into the 2A/3A Northeastern Coastal outing with a 4-4 record.

The Pirates now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to North East Carolina Prep for a 1A Four Rivers outing on Friday, January 5.
