February 6, 2024: Champlain, NY 12919 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Northeastern Clinton Cougars (Champlain, NY) and the visiting Peru Nighthawks (Peru, NY), saw Northeastern Clinton's basketball squad overcome Peru by a tally of 58-42.
With the victory, Northeastern Clinton improves its record to 8-8 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Moriah (Port Henry, NY) to confront the Vikings in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 13-1. Moriah won 64-36 in their recent league challenge against Ticonderoga (Ticonderoga, NY)
Next up, the Nighthawks confront the Ticonderoga Sentinels (Ticonderoga, NY) in a Section 7 Champlain Valley II challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Peru will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Sentinels come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 64-36 league loss to Moriah (Port Henry, NY).
