February 6, 2024: White Castle, LA 70788 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), by a margin of 70-34.
The Bulldogs (20-11) will now prepare for their outing against East Iberville (St. Gabriel, LA). The Tigers go into the 1A District 8 outing with a 20-9 record. In their last outing, East Iberville was trounced by East St. John (Reserve, LA), 50-42, in a non-league outing.
The Lions now own a 6-15 record. They play next when they host Mentorship Academy for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 8. Capitol will clash with a Sharks squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Sharks record now stands at 0-9.
