Iowa High School Basketball - West Monona overwhelms Missouri Valley
February 6, 2024: Missouri Valley, IA 51555 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) and the host Missouri Valley Big Reds (Missouri Valley, IA), saw West Monona's basketball squad wallop Missouri Valley by a tally of 78-31.
With the victory, West Monona improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA) to play the Panthers in a Western Valley - North challenge on Thursday, February 8. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 14-5.
Next up, the Big Reds play the Logan-Magnolia Panthers (Logan, IA) in a Western Iowa challenge, on Saturday, February 10. Missouri Valley will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 52-43 league loss to Riverside (Oakland, IA).
