Virginia High School Basketball - Alexandria City holds off South County
February 6, 2024: Lorton, VA 22079 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Alexandria City Titans (Alexandria, VA) and the host South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), saw Alexandria City's basketball squad hold off South County by a tally of 51-48.
With the victory, Alexandria City improves its record to 11-9 on the campaign. The Titans travel to West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to confront the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 9. The Spartans come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. West Springfield won 69-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Robinson (Fairfax, VA)
Next up, the Stallions confront the Woodson Cavaliers (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 9. South County will attempt to improve on its 5-5 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 56-43 non-league win over Fairfax (Fairfax, VA).
