Virginia High School Basketball - West Potomac tops South County
January 24, 2024: Alexandria, VA 22307 West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting South County Stallions (Lorton, VA), 56-37 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, West Potomac upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Woodson (Fairfax, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 26. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 10-1. Woodson won 35-31 in their recent non-league bout against Alexandria City (Alexandria, VA)
Next up, the Stallions play the Fairfax Lions (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 26. South County will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 3-8 record after their 65-57 non-league loss to Lake Braddock (Burke, VA).
