Indiana High School Basketball - Austin bested by Providence
February 6, 2025: Clarksville, IN 47129 Providence Pioneers (Clarksville, IN) supporters left the game happy Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Austin Eagles (Austin, IN), 41-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Providence advances its record to 13-2 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Jennings County (North Vernon, IN) to face the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, February 8. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 8-8. Jennings County lost 86-73 in their recent league match against New Albany (New Albany, IN)
The Eagles now own a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern for a Mid-Southern match on Saturday, February 8. Austin will face a Musketeers squad coming off a 48-43 non-league loss to Henryville (Henryville, IN). The Musketeers record now stands at 4-12.
