February 6, 2025: Hackberry, LA 70645 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Hackberry Mustangs (Hackberry, LA) and the visiting Johnson Bayou Rebels (Cameron, LA), observed Hackberry's basketball team overwhelm Johnson Bayou by a score of 67-31.
The Mustangs (24-14) will now prepare for their challenge against South Cameron (Creole, LA). The Tarpons come into the C District 5 challenge with a 1-14 record.
In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Starks Panthers (Starks, LA) in a C District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Johnson Bayou will attempt to improve on its 10-25 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 21-8 record after their 0-0 non-league Bell City (Bell City, LA).
