Louisiana High School Basketball - Bastrop overwhelms Union Parish
February 7, 2022: Bastrop, LA 71220 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) and the visiting Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), saw Bastrop's basketball squad wallop Union Parish by a tally of 58-30.
With the victory, Bastrop improves its record to 21-3 on the campaign. The Rams host Neville (Monroe, LA) to play the Tigers in a 4A District 2 challenge on Friday, February 11. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 4-9. Neville lost 55-21 in their recent non-league challenge against Northwood (Lena, LA)
Next up, the Farmers play the Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) in a 3A District 2 challenge, on Friday, February 11. Union Parish will attempt to improve on its 2-8 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 8-13 record after their 44-41 league win over Carroll (Monroe, LA).
