Bastrop Rams (Bastrop, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Richwood Rams (Monroe, LA), 58-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bastrop upgrades its record to 13-0 on the season. The Rams host Marksville (Marksville, LA) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 30. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Marksville lost 60-43 in their recent non-league bout against Avoyelles Charter (Mansura, LA)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Ruston Bearcats (Ruston, LA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 4. Richwood will attempt to upgrade on its 4-12 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 58-43 non-league win over Rayville (Rayville, LA).
