New Mexico High School Basketball - Gateway Christian fells To'hajiilee
February 7, 2022: To'hajiilee, NM 87026 Gateway Christian Warriors (Roswell, NM) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host To'hajiilee Warriors (To'hajiilee, NM), 55-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Gateway Christian upgrades its record to 14-1 on the season. The Warriors travel to Floyd (Floyd, NM) to clash with the Broncos in a A District 4 bout on Tuesday, February 8. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Floyd won 36-34 in their recent non-league bout against Non Varsity Opponent (, )
Next up, the Warriors clash with the Tse' Yi' Gai Dine Warriors (Cuba, NM) in a A District 1 bout, on Tuesday, February 8. To'hajiilee will attempt to upgrade on its 11-4 season record. The Dine Warriors go into the bout with a 1-13 record after their 48-23 league loss to Northwest (Shiprock, NM).
