The Bishop O'Dowd Dragons basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Piedmont Highlanders to 49 in the Dragons league triumph on Tuesday.
The Dragons now sport a 14-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host San Leandro for a West Alameda County - Foothill contest on Thursday, February 9. Bishop O'Dowd will battle a Pirates team coming off a 59-28 league win over St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Pirates record now stands at 8-15.
The Highlanders (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA). The Yellowjackets enter the West Alameda County - Foothill contest with a 18-7 record. In their last contest, Berkeley nudged St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA), 57-36, in a league contest.
