California High School Basketball - Piedmont over St. Joseph Notre Dame
January 6, 2023: Alameda, CA 94501 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Piedmont Highlanders (Piedmont, CA) and the host St. Joseph Notre Dame Pilots (Alameda, CA), saw Piedmont's basketball squad overcome St. Joseph Notre Dame by a tally of 62-46.
With the victory, Piedmont improves its record to 9-3 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Castro Valley (Castro Valley, CA) to confront the Trojans in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Castro Valley lost 57-41 in their recent league challenge against Berkeley (Berkeley, CA)
Next up, the Pilots confront the Bishop O'Dowd Dragons (Oakland, CA) in a West Alameda County - Foothill challenge, on Wednesday, January 11. St. Joseph Notre Dame will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Dragons come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 63-53 league loss to Alameda (Alameda, CA).
