Texas High School Basketball - Boyd nudges Pilot Point

In Tuesday's league outing, the Boyd Yellowjackets (Boyd, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting Pilot Point Bearcats (Pilot Point, TX), by a count of 50-49.

The Yellowjackets (18-11) will now prepare for their outing against Callisburg (Gainesville, TX). The Wildcats go into the 3A Region II District 10 outing with a 11-20 record. In their last outing, Callisburg was tipped by Whitesboro (Whitesboro, TX), 57-39, in a league outing.

The Bearcats now hold a 13-16 record. They play next when they travel to Valley View for a 3A Region II District 10 outing on Friday, February 10. Pilot Point will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 64-36 league loss to Paradise (Paradise, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 13-19.
