The Pelicans now possess a 24-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host University Lab for a 3A District 6 contest on Thursday, February 9. Port Allen will battle a Cubs team coming off a 66-65 league win over Doyle (Livingston, LA). The Cubs record now stands at 15-14.
The Lions (9-14) will now prepare for their contest against Northeast (Pride, LA). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 17-9 record. In their last contest, Northeast was nudged by Dutchtown (Geismar, LA), 47-40, in a non-league contest.
