Charles City Panthers (Charles City, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host West Point Pointers (West Point, VA), 85-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Charles City upgrades its record to 9-12 on the season. The Panthers travel to King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA) to play the Royal Tigers in a Tidewater bout on Wednesday, February 8. The Royal Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-16. King & Queen Central lost 84-63 in their recent league bout against Mathews (Mathews, VA)

Next up, the Pointers play the Maggie Walker (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 8. West Point will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record. The go into the bout with a 8-12 record after their 54-28 league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA).
