The Charles City Panthers basketball team scored 77 points and held the visiting West Point Pointers to 52 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mathews for a Tidewater contest on Tuesday, January 17. Charles City will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 72-71 league win over King & Queen Central (King & Queen Court House, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-9.
