North Carolina High School Basketball - Shining Light Baptist Academy overwhelms Cornerstone Christian Academy
February 7, 2023: Statesville, NC 28625 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Shining Light Baptist Academy Sharks (Monroe, NC) and the host Cornerstone Christian Academy Crusaders (Statesville, NC), saw Shining Light Baptist Academy's basketball squad wallop Cornerstone Christian Academy by a tally of 68-38.
With the victory, Shining Light Baptist Academy improves its record to 5-12 on the campaign. The Sharks travel to New Manna Christian (Marion, NC) to play the Wind in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Wind come into the challenge with a record of 16-5. New Manna Christian won 72-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethel Christian Academy (Spruce Pine, NC)
Next up, the Crusaders play the Abundant Life Christian Academy KNIGHTS (Indian Trail, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 13. Cornerstone Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
