Iowa High School Basketball - Pleasant Valley tops Davenport Central
February 7, 2023: Davenport, IA 52803 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) and the host Davenport Central Blue Devils (Davenport, IA), saw Pleasant Valley's basketball squad knock off Davenport Central by a count of 56-45.
With the victory, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Clinton (Clinton, IA) to play the River Kings in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, February 14. The River Kings come into the challenge with a record of 0-19.
Next up, the Blue Devils play the Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA) in a Mississippi challenge, on Friday, February 10. Davenport Central will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 70-50 league win over Central Clinton (DeWitt, IA).
