Iowa High School Basketball - Muscatine tops Pleasant Valley
January 13, 2023: Pleasant Valley, IA 52767 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Muscatine Muskies (Muscatine, IA) and the host Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA), saw Muscatine's basketball squad knock off Pleasant Valley by a count of 61-42.
With the victory, Muscatine upgrades its record to 3-7 on the campaign. The Muskies host Assumption (Davenport, IA) to play the Knights in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-7.
Next up, the Spartans play the Ames Little Cyclones (Ames, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 14. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Little Cyclones come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 65-37 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA).
