South Dakota High School Basketball - Hot Springs overwhelms Douglas
February 7, 2023: Hot Springs, SD 57747 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Hot Springs Bison (Hot Springs, SD) and the visiting Douglas Patriots (Box Elder, SD), saw Hot Springs's basketball squad wallop Douglas by a count of 59-34.
With the victory, Hot Springs upgrades its record to 15-0 on the campaign. The Bison host Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD) to play the Scoopers in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 10. The Scoopers come into the challenge with a record of 5-8. Sturgis Brown won 61-58 in their recent league challenge against Spearfish (Spearfish, SD)
Next up, the Patriots play the Hill City Rangers (Hill City, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. Douglas will attempt to upgrade on its 3-12 season record. The Rangers come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 73-61 non-league loss to Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD).
