February 7, 2023: Georgetown, MA 01833 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Georgetown Royals (Georgetown, MA) and the visiting North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA), saw Georgetown's basketball squad wallop North Reading by a tally of 68-43.
With the victory, Georgetown improves its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Royals host Billerica Memorial (Billerica, MA) to confront the Indians in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 9. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 4-10. Billerica Memorial lost 73-50 in their recent league challenge against Haverhill (Haverhill, MA)
Next up, the Hornets confront the Swampscott Big Blue (Swampscott, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 9. North Reading will attempt to improve on its 8-5 season record. The Big Blue come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 85-49 non-league loss to Beverly (Beverly, MA).
