The Georgetown Royals routed the host Amesbury Indians basketball team by a final score of 72-50 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Royals face the North Reading Hornets (North Reading, MA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 7. Georgetown will attempt to move on its 11-3 season record. The Hornets enter the game with a 8-4 record after their 69-61 non-league loss to Manchester Essex (Manchester, MA).

With the defeat, Amesbury moves to 1-13 on the year. The Indians host Newburyport (Newburyport, MA) to face the Clippers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 7. The Clippers enter the game with a record of 8-6. Newburyport lost 78-71 in their recent non-league game against Lowell (Lowell, MA)
