Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MO), 78-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lafayette County upgrades its record to 20-2 on the campaign. The Huskers travel to Carrollton (Carrollton, MO) to play the Trojans in a Missouri River Valley - East bout on Friday, February 10. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 5-17. Carrollton lost 65-54 in their recent league bout against Lexington (Lexington, MO)

Next up, the Minutemen play the Richmond Spartans (Richmond, MO) in a Missouri River Valley - East bout, on Friday, February 10. Lexington will attempt to upgrade on its 7-14 season record.
