Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Pocono holds off Valley View
February 7, 2023: Covington Township, PA 18444 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) and the visiting Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA), saw North Pocono's basketball squad hold off Valley View by a tally of 48-46.
With the victory, North Pocono improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Honesdale (Honesdale, PA) to confront the Hornets in a Lackawanna 2 challenge on Friday, February 10. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-14. Honesdale won 64-63 in their recent non-league challenge against Scranton Prep (Scranton, PA)
Next up, the Cougars confront the West Scranton Invaders (Scranton, PA) in a Lackawanna 1 challenge, on Friday, February 10. Valley View will attempt to improve on its 16-3 season record. The Invaders come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 64-43 non-league win over Honesdale (Honesdale, PA).
