Arkansas High School Basketball - Valley View holds off Paragould
February 7, 2023: Paragould, AR 72450 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley View Blazers (Jonesboro, AR) and the host Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), saw Valley View's basketball squad hold off Paragould by a tally of 50-44.
With the victory, Valley View improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Blazers host Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR) to confront the Golden Eagles in a 5A East challenge on Friday, February 10. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 20-7. Greene County Tech won 77-46 in their recent league challenge against Batesville (Batesville, AR)
Next up, the Rams confront the Batesville Pioneers (Batesville, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Friday, February 10. Paragould will attempt to improve on its 10-16 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-20 record after their 77-46 league loss to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR).
