Arkansas High School Basketball - West Memphis tops Paragould
January 20, 2023: West Memphis, AR 72301 West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), 52-36 in a league bout.
With the victory, West Memphis upgrades its record to 6-11 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR) to play the Golden Eagles in a 5A East bout on Tuesday, January 24. The Golden Eagles come into the bout with a record of 18-5.
Next up, the Rams play the Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) in a 5A East bout, on Tuesday, January 24. Paragould will attempt to upgrade on its 8-14 season record. The Patriots come into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR).
