Arkansas High School Basketball - Marion fells West Memphis
January 6, 2023: West Memphis, AR 72301 Marion Patriots (Marion, AR) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR), 48-38 in a league bout.
With the win, Marion upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Patriots travel to Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR) to face the Raiders in a 5A East game on Tuesday, January 10. The Raiders enter the game with a record of 10-4.
With the defeat, West Memphis moves to 4-9 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Searcy (Searcy, AR) to face the Lions in a 5A East game on Tuesday, January 10. The Lions enter the game with a record of 9-4. Searcy won 65-63 in their recent league game against Paragould (Paragould, AR)
