The Jonesboro Hurricane basketball team scored 50 points and held the host Marion Patriots to 43 in the Hurricane non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Hurricane now sport a 18-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Conway for a 6A Central contest on Tuesday, January 24. Jonesboro will meet a Wampus Cats team coming off a 62-49 league loss to Central (Little Rock, AR). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 8-7.
