North Carolina High School Basketball - Triangle Math & Science can't hold off River Mill

February 7, 2023: Cary, NC 27511

The River Mill Jaguars basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Triangle Math & Science Tigers to 55 in the Jaguars league victory on Tuesday.

The Jaguars now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chatham Charter for a 1A Conference 13 contest on Thursday, February 9. River Mill will battle a Knights team coming off a 74-25 league win over Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Knights record now stands at 27-0.

The Tigers (6-14) will now prepare for their contest against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC). The Grizzlies come into the 1A Conference 13 contest with a 6-20 record. In their last contest, Clover Garden School edged Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC), 66-51, in a league contest.
