North Carolina High School Basketball - Triangle Math & Science thwarts Southern Wake Academy

The Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Cary, NC) basketball knocked off the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), 54-42 in Wednesday's league test.

The Tigers (2-10) will now prepare for their test against Woods Charter (Chapel Hill, NC). The Wolves go into the 1A Conference 13 test with a 0-9 record. In their last test, Woods Charter went down by North Moore (Robbins, NC), 71-17, in a non-league test.

The Lions now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they host Chatham Charter for a 1A Conference 13 test on Friday, January 13. Southern Wake Academy will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 86-28 non-league win over Roxboro Community (Roxboro, NC). The Knights record now stands at 18-0.
