Alaska High School Basketball - West Anchorage crushes South Anchorage
February 7, 2023: Anchorage, AK 99517 West Anchorage Eagles (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Anchorage Wolverines (Anchorage, AK), 65-39 in a league bout.
With the win, West Anchorage upgrades its record to 7-5 on the season. The Eagles host Bartlett (Anchorage, AK) to clash with the Golden Bears in a 4A Cook Inlet bout on Friday, February 10. The Golden Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-7. Bartlett lost 75-37 in their recent league bout against Bettye Davis East Anchorage (Anchorage, AK)
Next up, the Wolverines clash with the Chugiak Mustangs (Chugiak, AK) in a 4A Cook Inlet bout, on Friday, February 10. South Anchorage will attempt to improve on its 4-12 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 64-22 league loss to Dimond (Anchorage, AK).
