Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blue Ridge Early College Bobcats (Cashiers, NC), 71-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Robbinsville upgrades its record to 16-4 on the season. The Black Knights travel to Swain County (Bryson City, NC) to play the Maroon Devils in a 1A Big Smoky bout on Friday, February 9. The Maroon Devils go into the bout with a record of 15-7. Swain County lost 71-63 in their recent non-league bout against Franklin (Franklin, NC)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Highlands Highlanders (Highlands, NC) in a 1A Little Smoky bout, on Friday, February 9. Blue Ridge Early College will attempt to upgrade on its 4-16 season record. The Highlanders go into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 80-60 league loss to Murphy (Murphy, NC).
