In Thursday's league outing, the Robbinsville Black Knights (Robbinsville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Hiwassee Dam Eagles (Murphy, NC), by a count of 78-39.

The Black Knights (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Cherokee (Cherokee, NC). The Braves go into the Big Smoky outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Cherokee was crushed by Murphy (Murphy, NC), 70-58, in a league outing.

The Eagles now hold a 3-12 record. They play next when they host Nantahala for a Little Smoky outing on Tuesday, January 30. Hiwassee Dam will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 80-40 league loss to Hayesville (Hayesville, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 3-10.
