New York High School Basketball - Canisius thwarts Bishop Timon-St. Jude

February 7, 2025: Buffalo, NY 14220

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) and the host Bishop Timon-St. Jude Tigers (Buffalo, NY), observed Canisius's basketball team knock off Bishop Timon-St. Jude by a score of 76-57.

The Crusaders (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against St. Francis (Hamburg, NY). The Red Raiders come into the Monsignor Martin challenge with a 8-11 record. In their last challenge, St. Francis was knocked off by St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute (Buffalo, NY), 70-65, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Bishop Grimes Cobras (East Syracuse, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 9. Bishop Timon-St. Jude will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record.
