The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) and the visiting Blackstone Valley Prep PRIDE (Cumberland, RI), observed Mt. Hope's basketball team knock off Blackstone Valley Prep by a score of 57-48.

The Huskies (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI). The Avengers come into the Division II challenge with a 7-11 record. In their last challenge, East Greenwich prevailed over Rogers (Newport, RI), 51-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the PRIDE encounter the Block Island (New Shoreham, RI) in a Division III challenge, on Saturday, February 8. Blackstone Valley Prep will attempt to improve on its 0-18 season record.
