Rhode Island High School Basketball - Ponaganset overwhelmed by Mt. Hope
February 27, 2025: Bristol, RI 02809 In Thursday's non-league test, the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) basketball team walloped the visiting Ponaganset Chieftains (North Scituate, RI), by a tally of 78-56.
The Huskies now possess a 17-5 record. They play next when they travel to Times Squared Academy for a non-league game on Monday, March 3. Mt. Hope will confront a Eagles team coming off a 66-63 non-league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Eagles record now stands at 18-5.
With the loss, Ponaganset falls to 16-7 on the campaign.
