Illinois High School Basketball - Central holds off Huntley

February 7, 2025: Burlington, IL 60109

The Central Rockets basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Huntley Red Raiders to 70 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now possess a 19-8 record. They play next when they travel to Prairie Ridge for a Fox Valley game on Tuesday, February 11. Central will confront a Wolves team coming off a 61-48 league win over McHenry (McHenry, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 10-17.

With the loss, Huntley falls to 11-15 on the campaign. The Red raiders travel to Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL) to confront the Gators in a Fox Valley game on Tuesday, February 11. The Gators go into the game with a record of 23-4. Crystal Lake South won 57-53 in their recent league game against Cary-Grove (Cary, IL)
